Pupils at a faculty in Southampton have hit out on the “unacceptable” customary of their faculty dinners.
Their feedback come after Redbridge Neighborhood College headteacher Jason Ashley despatched a letter to dad and mom concerning the high quality of the dinners being served to youngsters.
In an interview with BBC Breakfast on Thursday (14 March), one pupil stated: “When I’m consuming I style extra cardboard from the fork than the meals. If I simply put some salt and pepper on this fork I might get pleasure from it extra.”
Chartwells, who holds the varsity’s catering contract, has since issued an apology, admitting the “common degree of service fell beneath the excessive requirements” the corporate calls for.
